Enshrouded launched on PS5 and PS5 Pro on October 15, 2026, alongside the 1.0 release on Steam. The developer announced the October 15 launch for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, with Xbox Series to follow in spring 2027.
The PS5 version was not a later port. It launched the same day the game left Steam Early Access, and the official launch map said it would unlock on Steam and PS5 at the same moment worldwide: 8:00 AM Pacific, 11:00 AM Eastern and 4:00 PM UK time on Thursday, October 15.
PS5 players get version 1.0 from day one, so the 1.0 content, from the mage overhaul to Sparkworks, is part of the PS5 release.
PS5 and PS5 Pro support
The developer’s press release names PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro, and the store lists the game as PS5 Pro Enhanced. No PS4 version is listed.
The PS5 version supports DualSense vibration and trigger effects, and the store lists 22 accessibility features, including advanced controller remapping and advanced difficulty options.
Price and editions on PlayStation Store
The PS5 version is priced at $39.99, with a $49.99 Deluxe Edition. PS Plus members get 10% off either edition until October 29. The Standard Edition is listed at $39.99, £34.99 or €39.99, the same price as on Steam.
The Deluxe Edition adds three exclusive Class Outfit Packs, a digital artbook, a high-resolution printable map of Embervale and the original soundtrack.
The developer has only mentioned the PlayStation Store when discussing where to buy the PS5 version, and no physical edition has been announced.
Co-op on PS5 and PS Plus
Enshrouded is a solo and co-op survival action RPG, and the PS5 version supports online co-op for up to 8 players. Online play requires a PS Plus subscription, as with most PS5 multiplayer games.
PS5 co-op tops out at 8 players, while the Steam version supports up to 16.
Cross-platform play and saves
Enshrouded is not cross-platform at launch. The developer says it is working on cross-platform play but has no current estimate on how much time it will take, and no way to move a Steam save to PS5 has been announced.
